When you walk, what do you represent? It might be a bold question to ask, but the world already knows your answer by how you live. Does your life online and off represent something bigger than you? Your life should represent the power and grace Jesus gave for all to accept by faith and receive salvation.

Are you passionate about sharing the message of God? Do you enjoy helping others grow in their walk with God? If you answered yes, you may be called to do ministry. Talk to your campus ministers and parents if you’re considering this direction.

If you’re ready for what’s next, the School of Ministry starts in June in Nashville, Tennessee. Over the course of nine-weeks, you’ll learn lessons that’ll prepare you for living the life of a full-time minster. This is an opportunity of a lifetime that will assist you as God molds you for what he has in store for the future.

The decision to apply for the School of Ministry is a nine-week commitment. Others may not understand, but remember:

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV)

After Campus Harvest, your next steps are critical. The last thing you want to do is go home “unchanged”. It is important to reflect of your Campus Harvest experience. Were your expectations met? Exceeded? What can you do to prepare for next season of your life?

Every Friday night of Campus Harvest, students rush and campus ministers rush into an auditorium with a roar and their built-up faith ignites like a heap of gunpowder. It’s an explosion of energy, it’s fun, but it’s meaningless–without God’s presence. Moses spoke earnestly to the Lord when he was leading the Israelites: “Your presence, and only your presence, is what marks us as your people!” he said in effect.

The most important preparation we can make for Campus Harvest is not to secure a venue, to register people, or to fill up the baptismal tub–it’s to pray and ask the Lord to meet us. Hudson Taylor, the great missionary to China, said it this way: “When man works, man works, but when man prays, God works.”
